The customer also wanted the app to have a unique feature of collecting points in a “cup” for certain plays, and allowing the winner of the game to receive the remaining points in the cup.
COGNIC’S SOLUTION
Cognic developed a fantasy mobile app that allows users to create groups and play against each other using live baseball game data from a sports data API. The app awards point for positive plays and deduct points for negative ones. Additionally, the app has a unique feature of a “cup” where points are collected for certain plays such as a home run. At the end of the game, the user with the highest point total receives the remaining points in the cup. Users can play for points or settle up among themselves.
